Left Hand of Liberty Lunch Bunch at La Panda Bakery
April 19, 2021 –
On the 3rd Monday of the month we plan time for the Left Hand of Liberty Lunch Bunch
This is our monthly Liberty Lunch and discussion group. We try to stick to local politics where an individual can make a difference with knowledge of how government actually works; to support or denigrate the volunteers elected to set policy in our local communities.
If your interest is at the local level; the government that repairs your sidewalk and taxes your garbage, then Left Hand of Liberty is your thought and action group.
As the group gets larger, it's generally a free for all. Expect the unexpected topics, or venture one yourself.
For 12 years we have been meeting at Noon at La Panda Bakery, 609 Ken Pratt Blvd in Longmont. In the strip mall on the SW corner of Hwy 287 & 119. South of the urgent care center and Goodfella's. Variable Covid-19 restrictions and weather may find us meeting and eating outside in the breezeway between the lot and Grand Ave. Its suggested that you bring portable seating. We have extra chairs for slackers. La Panda is serving indoors, but we easily exceed their new seating plan.
Starting April 19th 2021 we will be at La Panda. The possibility of also being on Zoom is sketchy. We will see if the restaurant connection can support livestreaming.
Don't be fooled by the name. La Panda is pure Mexican. Adjust the spice temp when you order. La Panda has a wide variety of authentic south of the border foodstuffs, all hot and fresh. Lunch with a drink and tip usually comes to $12, unless you opt for a custard pastry and a glass of horchata.
Be responsible for paying your own way. Though a social event, we can't make others pay for our meal (not socialism).
If we're meeting on Zoom, there is carry-out available from La Panda's online menu and by calling them at 303-776-1396
