Yes, Virginia, there will be a Libertarian Lunch on December 26, 2013.
We did ask Santa Claus to attend but he said he was tapped out because of all the heavy gift taxes he has paid this year. He, sadly, both exceeded his yearly and lifetime exclusion limits.
We did refer him to Publication 950. ( http://www.irs.gov/uac/Publication-950,-Introduction-to-Estate-and-Gift-Taxes-1 ) This publication informs taxpayers of estate and gift tax filing requirements. This overview is required to improve voluntary compliance.
Having read the information on this confusing website (“We moved introductory estate and gift tax information from this publication to Publication 559, Survivors, Executors, and Administrators.”), and the 73,954 pages of the tax code ( http://finance.townhall.com/columnists/politicalcalculations/2013/02/17/how-many-pages-long-is-the-us-income-tax-code-in-2013-n1514277 ) Santa decided to get a concealed carry permit rather than attend our lunch.

Bryan Griffin has informed me that we should all be aware of the TSA’s coherent and streamlined new rules on the carrying of certain items on airplanes.
