Charles Hoskinson will be talking about how cryptography and technologies similar to Bitcoin can revolutionize a variety of human interactions like (1) contracts, (2) a way/place to store data that is resistant to government meddling, (3) using spare computer capacity to generate profits from the aggregation of “microtransactions”, (4) a world without the need for multiple passwords, (5) etc.

Charles Hoskinson is a Colorado based technology entrepreneur and mathematician. His professional experience includes founding three Bitcoin related start-ups- Invictus Innovations, Ethereum and Input Output HK- and a variety of colorful positions in the public and private sector. He was the founding chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation’s education committee and established the not for profit Cryptocurrency Research Group in September of 2013.

His current projects focus on education of cryptocurrency topics, evangelism of decentralization and making cryptographic tools easier to use for the mainstream.
